How many photos can I batch edit at once?: The free version supports up to 10 images per batch. Pro supports up to 500 images per batch.
Is RapidPhoto free?: RapidPhoto has a free tier with limited features (10 images/batch, 6 crop ratios, basic tools). Pro ($14.99 one-time) unlocks all features including 500-image batches, AI tools, and 100+ effects.
Does RapidPhoto upload my photos to the cloud?: No. RapidPhoto processes 100% of your photos locally on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud, and we don't collect any telemetry or personal data.
What export formats does RapidPhoto support?: RapidPhoto exports to 9 formats: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, BMP, and JP2. You can also choose from 3 color spaces: sRGB, Display P3, and Adobe RGB.
What AI features are included?: Pro includes 5 AI tools: background removal, face blur, image upscaling (Real-ESRGAN), OCR (text extraction), and barcode/QR code detection. All run entirely on-device using Apple's CoreML.
Does RapidPhoto work on Apple Silicon Macs?: Yes. RapidPhoto is fully optimized for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and also works on Intel Macs with macOS 13+. Apple Silicon provides significantly faster processing.
